One of my favorite things to do is seeking out new experiences that can broaden my horizons. In particular, I love to travel and explore new tastes. I would love to briefly share with you a wonderful travel experience I recently enjoyed and a particular drink that I have had the pleasure of sampling.
The trip that I would like to discuss was to the exotic destination of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve done a good amount of traveling before, but nothing could have prepared me for the cultural diversity and depth of character in the city of Buenos Aires. From the flight there to the hotel room everything was incredible. There were many great experiences there, but the greatest aspect of visiting Buenos Aires was simply getting to know the people. The food, the parties, and the local artisans were amazing!
While there, I had the privilege of attending an awesome wine tasting in Buenos Aires. I have tried wine in America before, of course, but there was something truly amazing about experiencing wine from the perspective of an Argentinean. Rather than the bland and traditional wines of America and Europe, the wines of Buenos Aires were filled with character and boldness. I was supposed to only have a small sample of each wine, but, I must confess, I went back for my fair share of one particularly enticing white wine at the awesome wine tasting in Buenos Aires.
I have learned from this extraordinary traveling adventure that going beyond your comfort zone is truly a worthwhile experience. And, whats more, Buenos Aires would be an excellent place to begin. With cultural diversity and excellent wine and dining opportunities, there are few destinations that can compare.
